Greeting from President
Dear Artists of the Greater American Institute of Art,
As the bells of Christmas are about to ring, I, in my dual role as the President of the Greater
American Institute of Art and a fellow painter, am filled with pride to join you in welcoming this
joyous and enlightening holiday. This year, we celebrate not only the birth of the New North
American Art Movement but also the writing of a new chapter in the history of art.
Art has always been the vessel for human emotion and thought, from ancient Egyptian
hieroglyphs to the grand paintings of the Renaissance, reflecting the spirit of each era. Today, the
New North American Art Movement carries forward and evolves the essence of the “Paris
School,” dedicated to cross-cultural dialogue and integration, emphasizing the uniqueness and
cultural depth of our work, and seeking new expressions and origins of art in the contemporary
context. This is not only a tribute to the artistic traditions but also an exploration into the future,
representing a cultural awakening and collective identity.
At this special moment, let us remember that art transcends the display of skill and is the
conveyance of emotion and thought. It is a dialogue across time and space, a silent language that
touches the soul. As artists, we bear the mission of using this language to inspire the world and
the universe.
In the coming year, may we continue to delve deeper into exploration, constantly challenge
ourselves, create tirelessly, and share boundlessly, using our art to enlighten minds, evoke
emotions, and foster understanding and inclusiveness.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with endless creativity and
inspiration.
Sincerely,
Dr. Lily Gaia Ye
President of Greater American Institute of Art
